Background
I have always been interested in photography but my passion really took off when I started shooting digitally in 2004. From there I always had my camera with me and continued to polish my skills. I started covering all the sports events for Warren Wilson College and many of the school events. I graduated with a Chemistry degree in 2007 and took the trip of a lifetime with my dad. We travelled for ten weeks out west, going to a bunch of National Parks and taking photos every day. From there I took a job at Camp Albemarle in Newport, NC as the Assistant Director.
I created Sail Away Web Design and Photography to shift my passion for photography from a serious hobby to a career. I continue to develop my web design, fine art printing and graphic design skills as well. I hope to develop the business and save enough money to take off and sail my boat out into the world.
