Description

The Heaphy Track is one of the nine Great Walks in New Zealand. I did this hike with a with a friend I met on the Milford Track. This was one of the beaches along the hike on the first day. The first hut is right on a beautiful bay and the rest of the hike goes up and through the mountains.

This photo was taken during a wonderful trip to New Zealand in 2012-2013. Dad and I were together on this trip for five weeks and were able to go on all sorts of great hikes together. I was able to stay over in New Zealand for a total of four and a half months hiking all over the island and taking photos.
