Description

The Heaphy Track is one of the nine Great Walks in New Zealand. I did this hike with a with a friend I met on the Milford Track. We met a wonderful young couple while hiking the first day. Our first hut was right on this beach and we all took a hike around sunset. Garreth and Kimberly carried on down the beach and I captured a nice photo of them walking back towards the hut.

This photo was taken during a wonderful trip to New Zealand in 2012-2013. Dad and I were together on this trip for five weeks and were able to go on all sorts of great hikes together. I was able to stay over in New Zealand for a total of four and a half months hiking all over the island and taking photos.
